Yoga, Presence and the Fire Within

I invite you to join us Deep in the woods at the beautiful Rising Fawn Gardens, nestled between meadow and stream on the weekend of the Autumnal Equinox. Honoring the transition from the Fire of the Summer to the Cooler Richness of Autumn.
Fire is seen as the ultimate transformational force. In yoga, there is only transformation and change. So, through regular practice and discovery we can stoke up a fire within us that will burn away all we don’t need. This fire/works on both a physical and mental level to burn off impurities that block our light. What is dampening YOUR fire/light?
Fire/Tapas: the conscious effort to achieve ultimate union with the Divine/Light and to burn up all habits that stand in the way of this goal.
When do you know your light/joy is being expressed?
Your true Nature as Light
9:30a- Opening Circle, Somatic and self-reflective Practices to Discover what “fires you up”
10:30a- Stimulating/Energy Practice~ Integrating Deep Vinyasa, Reflective holds with a sprinkling of Kundalini Kriya’s
~ The heat you experience will not come from the external (room) but from internal (your movements, breath, joy and presence)
1p-BreathWalk, Silent Walking Meditation and Somatic Practices in Nature
2:30p-CalmEnergy based movements followed by Yin Practice to explore the cooler intensity of longer opening poses to begin to embody the insights and understanding from the day.
My hope is that you walk away with:
~a mantra/statement that will carry the fire needed to assist in your continued transformation
~specific somatic practices that will help empower you to make choices that support your mantra
This day will incorporate different energy-based practices, not just yoga, to create heat in the body/mind, please let me know if you have health issues or have questions about the day. It is an ALL levels Retreat yet you will need a basic understanding of yoga and need to be without injuries that could inhibit movements and full participation.
